Join our mission: Impact Center exists to walk alongside Catholic ministry leaders in need of spiritual renewal. We believe the Church thrives when her leaders are healthy. Too often, those serving the Church—youth ministers, campus ministers, and lay leaders feel exhausted or discouraged.
At Impact Center, we rescue, restore, and revitalize these leaders so they can serve from a place of spiritual health and bring renewal to the Church.
We do this through Core Impact Retreats (spaces for rest and spiritual renewal), triage care (connecting hurting leaders to personalized support), and ongoing one-on-one coaching and small-group mentoring for personal and professional growth.
At the heart of our work is a deeply relational, spiritually grounded approach. We walk with leaders through every step of their journey.

What We Are Looking For

 
We seek experienced Catholic leaders with 10+ years of ministry experience who feel called to disciple and mentor others.
 Specifically, we are looking for candidates who:
  • Live the Catholic faith: You are committed to the Church’s mission, prayerful life, and sacramental practice.
  • Have deep ministry experience: You bring at least a decade of proven pastoral or leadership experience and wisdom.
  • Are called to discipleship: Your passion is guiding others on their spiritual journey through mentorship and example.
  • Seek long-term commitment: This is not a short-term stint. You’re ready to invest several years (beyond 1–2 year assignments) in walking deeply with ministry leaders, helping them heal and grow.
  • Can raise your own support: Like many Catholic missionary models, you will build a support base of donors. We provide training, coaching and resources to help with fundraising.

Your Missionary Role

As an Impact Center missionary, you become part of a vibrant ministry to those who serve the Church. Your role may include:
  • Walking alongside ministry leaders: Journey with pastors, campus ministers, and other Catholic leaders who are weary or discouraged, offering prayerful companionship and encouragement.
  • Leading retreats and events: Help facilitate or teach at our retreats and renewal events, providing spaces for rest, reflection, and encounter with Christ.
  • Providing coaching and mentoring: Offer one-on-one or small-group spiritual direction and leadership coaching to help leaders grow in holiness and effectiveness.
  • Multiplying discipleship: Implement a discipleship model so that leaders you renew will, in turn, raise up and empower others.
  • Living Catholic witness: Bring a joyful, prayer-centered presence to your city.
Every day in this role, you’ll be on mission with the Church. You’ll be part of a small, growing team where your gifts make a big impact. You’ll help build new training systems and partnerships and shape how we reach dioceses and ministries across the country. In our close-knit team, every voice matters.

Support &
Training

We know full-time mission work requires both faith and preparation. You will raise your own support to serve, just as many Catholic missionary organizations. 
But you won’t be alone: Impact Center equips and cares for you every step of the way. We provide:
  • Fundraising Training (Via): Formation to prepare you spiritually and practically for this support raising journey.
  • Missionary Training: An orientation and formation program to prepare you to serve in this ministry. We do this in partnership with organizations providing you with tools in human and spiritual formation.
  • Ongoing Coaching: Regular one-on-one coaching sessions with Impact Center leaders, helping you grow in both faith and leadership.
  • Team Community: Weekly prayer and check-ins with the staff team plus spiritual resources and retreats just for our missionaries.
  • Practical Support: Help with fundraising strategies, communication tools, and logistics so you can focus on ministry.
 
We’re committed to your spiritual health as much as those you serve. You will have ample opportunities for prayer, spiritual direction, and rest because a healthy missionary makes a bigger impact.

Our expanding team means you’ll have significant responsibility and creative freedom in your role and implement the mission in your city. You’ll collaborate with national ministries and dioceses, and you might even pioneer new regional efforts. Though we’re small, God is moving powerfully, and this is only the beginning.

Our work is rooted in the Church’s tradition of missionary discipleship. We encourage our staff to join in Mass, Liturgy of the Hours, and the Rosary, and our retreats emphasize Eucharistic Adoration and sacramental life. Our values come from the deep spiritual well of Catholic tradition and prayer.
